There are three overnight treks departing from and returning to Myoma Market in Pindaya. The trails are challenging and a good level of fitness is recommended.

Overnight from Pindaya 1

This trail takes two full days from Pindaya, starting and ending at Myoma Market. The trail passes through Danu and Pa-o Villages. The first village stop offers a spectacular view over Pindaya. It continues along mountain ridges, passing three small lakes where people wash clothes, take their morning bath and clean the traditional Shan "ju" (small leek).

Some of the highlights along this trail include the beautiful monastery at Choke Chet, the bamboo hat factory in Tha Yat Gone and the tea factory in Salae Inn.

Overnight from Pindaya 2

This trail takes two days and requires an overnight stay. The trail goes along footpaths and stone paved roads which are in good condition. Trekkers will encounter some motorcycle traffic. It is also possible to take a bicycle on this trail. The recommended overnight stay is at Kan Tha Gone Monastery; lunches can be organized in most village but this must be done ahead of time by your guide. The trail gives very nice views of Inn Yar lake. In addition it offers an opportunity to observe local village life in Danu and Pa-o Villages.

The route begins with a steep climb and then evens out, offering fantastic views of the mountains and passing through many agricultural fields, including tea, coffee and avocados plantations.
